Day 10 – Kelowna to north of Sicamous

Today’s blog was written at great length, before crashing due to dodgy campsite wifi, and it looks like it was all lost. Suffice to say it was a long hot day full of interest and fascinating bloggable details, leaving me unable to face rewriting it all right now. I’ll do it when I next get the opportunity!

Lots of love to all

Ben

Ps oh go on then, I’ll do this bit

  • Today’s Distance (miles): 87.5
  • Time in saddle: 6h 34
  • Max/min temp (°c): 35°/17°
  • Climb/descend (feet) : 2,173 / 2,838
  • Calories used: 4,091
  • Cafe time: 4h 27

Bye for now, I’m off to make supper! X

  1. What a bummer with that dodgy wifi! Hope you can recover it somehow. How you write anything at all after your Herculean efforts on the bike each day, I have no idea – but I admire you tremendously for it. Not sure what we will all do for fun and inspiration when your trip is over.
Fantastic ride today – congrats! Have a good rest tonight – you have earned it.

    Cheers, S

  2. Hey Ben — if t doesn’t go well, you could always come back to Kelowna and we could drink our way across Canada! It will take me a day or two to reduce the photos and send on to you! Cheers, Brant. PS – I forgot to warn you about a lot of construction on the Trans Canada Highway. Good luck.
