And now some helpful Bear-related training advice from Wahoo

I love my Wahoo Elemnt computer, and they’re not even sponsoring me (yet). It tells me where to go (East), how hard my heart is beating (very) and how many calories I’ve used (FOOOOOD!) amongst many other things.

On their fitness blog ( http://blog.wahoofitness.com/heart-rate-still-useful-data/ ) they’re currently offering the following advice on heart-rate training:

“Over the long run (no pun intended), heart rate, pace, and perceived exertion will all correlate to create snapshots you recognize as:

“easy,”

“endurance,”

“hard” or “race pace,”

“only sustainable for a few minutes,”

and “BEAR!”

There is no faster speed, I guess. Thanks Wahoo.
